Tamil New Year Celebrations

The first program of the year, Tamil New Year, was held at 8.50 a.m. at Milton International School. It was held under the leadership of Asma Nainar, beloved Principal. Shravan of Grade 10, being the host, started the ceremony by inviting everyone with his warm greetings. Knowing that it is our tradition to offer thanks to God first, the festival started with a word of prayer. Students of our school choir sang ‘Thamizh Thai Vazhthu’ letting their sweet voice fill the atmosphere with the sweet aroma of Language. Then Siddharth of Grade 5, recited Thirukkural, the crown of our language. Our student Goswin, enriched us with truths of the pearls embedded in that crown. Our students enthralled everyone with songs and dances. Riya, a student, touched the hearts of the listeners with her eloquence about the beauty of the Tamil New Year. Our principal, Mrs. Asma Nainar shared her sweet thoughts wishing the students and teachers, a Blessed and Happy Tamil New Year, in Tamil. Finally, student Shravan gave the vote of thanks with his magnetic voice and the Tamil New Year's Day function ended joyfully.

தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு கொண்டாட்டங்கள்

தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு தின விழா 13.04.2023 கல்வி ஆண்டின் முதல் நிகழ்ச்சியான தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு காலை 8.50 மணி அளவில் மில்டன் சர்வதேசப் பள்ளியில் தின விழா தலைமை ஆசிரியை திருமதி. அஸ்மா நாயனர் தலைமையில் இனிதே நடைபெற்றது. பத்தாம் வகுப்பு மாணவன் ஷ்ரவன் தொகுப்பாளராக இருந்து ஒவ்வொருவரையும் தன் வாழ்த்துரைகளால் அனைவரையும் அழைத்து இவ்விழாவை தொடங்கினார். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் முதலில் சிரம் கூப்பி கடவுளுக்கு நன்றி கூறுவது நம் மரபு என அறிந்த நம் மாணவர்கள் அனைவரும் கடவுளின் வாழ்த்துதலோடு இவ்விழாவைத் தொடங்கி வைத்தனர். மற்றும் நம் இசை குழுவினரின் மாணவர்கள் தங்களின் இனியக் குரலால் தமிழ்த்தாய் வாழ்த்துப் பாடலை பாடினர். பின்னர் நம் மொழிக்கு மணி மகுடமாக இருக்கும் திருக்குறளைக் கூறினார் ஐந்தாம் வகுப்பு மாணவன் சித்தார்த். திருக்குறள் மட்டும் போதாது சிதறிக் கடந்த சிந்தனைத் துளிகளோடு நான் வந்துள்ளேன் என்று அவற்றை ஒன்று சேர்த்து நம்மை சிந்தனையில் ஆழ்த்தினான் நம் மாணவன் கோஸ்வின். திருக்குறள் மற்றும் சிந்தனை துளிகளைக் கேட்டு ஆர்வம் கொண்டு புத்துணர்விலிருந்த அனைவருக்கும் பாடல், நடனம் என உள்ளத்தில் பரவசம் ஏற்படுத்தினர் நம் மாணவர்கள். பாடல், நடனம் மட்டும் போதுமா? காதுகளுக்கு தேன் வந்து சொட்டட்டும் என தமிழ் புத்தாண்டின் சிறப்பை பற்றி அனைவருக்கும் தன் பேச்சாற்றலால் கேட்பவரை மனம் நெகிழ வைத்தாள் மாணவி ரியா. அடுத்ததாக தலைமை ஆசிரியை திருமதி. அஸ்மா நாயனார் அவர்கள் தனது இனிய கருத்துக்களை தமிழில் மாணவர்களிடம் தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு வாழ்த்துகளோடு பகிர்ந்து கொண்டார். இறுதியாக மாணவன் ஷ்ரவன் தன் காந்த குரலால் நன்றியுரை கூறி தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு தின விழா இனிதே நிறைவடைந்தது.
